Position
Description: The Project Manager will lead
a Construction Management team to oversee construction
of various infrastructure and facility projects across
several states funded by the U.S. General Services
Administration (GSA) under a 5-year IDIQ Contract.
Duties will include; participate in planning and coordination
meetings with GSA representatives; plan and coordinate
consultant team activities including work of sub consultant
team member firms; schedule consultant team resources;
prepare and maintain project schedules, cost estimates,
and budget/cost reports; implement and enforce quality
assurance/control program; manage site land surveys,
oversee environmental clean-up and mitigation activities;
oversee document control activities; participate in
project coordination meetings with Architects and Engineers;
lead construction contractor progress meetings; oversee
construction activities of general contractors, specialty
sub contractors, and equipment suppliers; review and
approve contractor invoices; review and approve contractor
submittals and requests for information; review and
approve contractor changer orders; and oversee project
close-out activities. The Project Manager will work
out of LSG’s corporate office in Centennial,
Colorado and will be required to do some traveling
to project sites.
Qualifications:
Must have a four-year degree in an engineering or construction management discipline.
Must have a Professional Civil Engineer License or Construction Management
Professional Certification. Must have at least 10 years experience in a leadership
role managing construction of small to large projects for federal civilian
agencies either working for a Program/Construction Management Consulting
firm, General Contractor or a federal employee. Must have and a minimum of
3 years experience working directly on GSA funded projects with a working
knowledge of GSA policies, procedures and practices for planning, managing
and delivering GSA funded capital projects. Must be proficient in the use
of Microsoft Office Suite software including: Word, PowerPoint, Project,
and Excel. Must possess excellent communication and managerial skills. References
will be requested and checked.
Citizenship: Must be US Citizen.
Compensation: $100,000
to $140,000 annual salary plus benefits.
