Technologies Hires Munir K. Bhimani as Executive Director
Strategic IT Services.
Reporting to John Young, President, LSG Technologies, Mr.
Bhimani will lead consulting engagements relating to Mergers
and Acquisitions, Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery
Planning, and Project Management for complex IT programs.
Mr. Bhimani has extensive experience in organizational development,
strategic planning, IT portfolio management, and project management.
He has directed mergers and acquisitions initiatives and strategic
IT projects in the banking, e-commerce, telecommunications,
transportation, and government sectors. From 2000 to 2004,
Mr. Bhimani was the Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer
of Protelica, Inc., a mergers and acquisitions IT integration
services company. Prior to that, he held management positions
at Anixter, Lucent Technologies and AT&T. Mr. Bhimani
is a PMI® certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
and holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science and Engineering
from the University of Colorado. |

The review comments on this rating as follows: "The contractor
has demonstrated an outstanding performance level that was
significantly in excess of anticipated achievements and is
commendable as an example for others
. A second rating
for COST CONTROL scored an "Excellent" with the
following note: "There are no cost management issues.
Because of the quality of staff and work product we believe
the government has saved money." |

LS Gallegos & Associates is pleased to introduce Dean
B. Hale as Executive Director Business Development, LSG Technologies.
Mr. Hale is a highly accomplished sales executive in the area
of strategic information technology consulting services. His
sales experience encompasses multiple vertical markets including:
Banking/Finance, Energy, Telecommunications and Government.
Among Mr. Hale's accomplishments are the sales of complex
enterprise networks to Fortune 1000 companies in the Rocky
Mountain and Pacific Northwest Regions, developing, managing,
and training national sales teams and managing strategic alliance
partnerships programs. Mr. Hale is developing business opportunities
with commercial customers responsible for mergers and acquisitions
and governmental entities involved with consolidating multiple
IT departments. Other responsibilities include development

2004 Rail Transit Conference
Jerry Gallegos and Tom Guzman attended this year's American
Public Transportation Association (APTA) Rail Transit Conference
in Miami, Florida. A major focus of the conference was the
recent acquisition and service start-up by the South Florida
Regional Transportation Authority of the innovative Diesel
Multiple Unit (DMU) commuter rail vehicle manufactured by
Colorado Railcar Manufacturing, LLC of Fort Lupton, Colorado.
Jerry and Tom joined other invited guests to ride the new
DMU between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. |

DIA Contract for DMJM Aviation, Inc. & Sub-consultants
The City and County of Denver awarded to DMJM Aviation, Inc.
a five-year contract for Construction Management, Material
Testing, Inspection, and Support Services at Denver International
Airport. LSG provides contract management, inspection, and
project engineer support under this contract. |

Awarded GSA Federal Supply Services MOBIS Schedule Contract
LS Gallegos & Associates Inc has been awarded a Mission
Oriented Business Integrated Services (MOBIS) contract by
the General Services Administration. This contract allows
the Federal Government to purchase Consulting Services and
Program Integration and Project Management Services from LSG
at a pre-established rate schedule. LSG's contract extends
for five years and is assigned GSA Contract Number GS-10F-0343P.

a division of LS Gallegos. John has over thirty years of successful
IT management experience spanning all areas of technology
within numerous industries. Prior to joining LSG, John was
CIO of Buck Consultants, a Mellon Financial Services Company,
and prior to that, was a partner responsible for technology
issues with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. |

ITE/WTS/ITSRM 2nd Annual Spring Transportation Symposium
LS Gallegos is a corporate sponsor and will be represented
at the 2004 ITE/WTS/ITS Transportation Symposium to be held
at the Radisson Hotel, Denver Stapleton Plaza. Approximately
300 transportation planners, engineers and transportation
agency officials are expected to attend the one day event.
Agenda items will include discussions and sharing information
about lessons from the most innovative and successful local
transportation projects in 2003. |

ThunderRidge
High School, Internet Safety Seminar
Mike Hughes, LSG Information Technology Security Specialist
at the DOE, Denver Regional Office, Golden, Colorado, volunteered
as a presenter in an Internet Safety Seminar at ThunderRidge
High School, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. The seminar focused
on three issues: 1) "Teen Pop Culture in a Sexually Saturated
Society" allowed participants to discuss the effects
of pornography on youth; 2) "Internet Safety" addressed
safety issues concerning chat rooms and internet crime, and
3) "How to Outsmart Your Teenager" provided information
to parents about resources available to filter and monitor
a child's internet access. Mike demonstrated and coached parents
on using internet safety features of various software tools.
Mike also negotiated with the software vendors to donate the
demonstration copies of internet security software.

along with over 500 other registrants, attended the 2004 Airport
Planning Design & Construction Symposium held at the Marriott
Center Hotel, Denver, Colorado. The three day event, sponsored
by The American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and
Airport Consultant's Council (ACC), focused on various airport
issues relating to planning, information systems, security,
terminal and runway design, complying with TSA directives,
and alternative delivery methods for program management and
construction management. Participants from LS Gallegos included
Teresa Gorel, Staff Engineer on Denver International Airport
projects, and Larry Gallegos, President. |
